SHINE Merton is a charity funded Saturday School for 50 most disadvantaged 9-10 yr old pupils in transition to secondary school. We are Mitcham school's referral programme and cater for students on Pupils Premium, young carers, students with learning difficulties, refugees and those with social and emotional difficulties. We provide approximately 150 hours of study support and nurture per year. Our workshop style programme complements school curriculum and is focused on connectivity, creativity, wellbeing, communication, problem solving and team work.
