SHINE CAMERA CLUB
Shine Camera Club teaches children the basics of photography using analogue film cameras, encouraging them to pause, observe, and capture the world through their own eyes. Over four weeks, they explore portraiture, still life, and street photography while learning about film cameras, lighting, and iconic photographers.

Cindy Sasha is a photographer, filmmaker, and creative producer with over two decades of experience in the music, film, and fashion industries.
Cindy has developed a strong and trusting partnership with Kristina Burton, Project and Development Manager at Mitcham Town Community Trust. Kristina, a passionate advocate for children’s arts education, invited Cindy to teach photography at Shine Merton Saturday School.
Our goal is to provide a safe, inspiring space where children build confidence and express themselves visually. Their best images will be developed and showcased in a public exhibition at the end of the workshop. We are grateful to Elys Wimbledon for generously providing us with exhibition space over the past three years, allowing us to showcase the children's photography.
