Shine Photography Exhibition 2025 - supported by Wimbledon’s Learning Programme

In June 2025, Shine Camera Club was proud to be supported by The Wimbledon Championships Learning Programme, celebrating 50 years since Arthur Ashe’s historic win and his powerful legacy of equality and change.
Inspired by this, our young photographers set out to capture the 'Community Trailblazers' around them, everyday people making a real difference. From teachers to creatives and local advocates, each portrait tells a story of impact, care and community spirit.
Shot at Canons House in Mitcham and Bond Primary School, the project gave children the chance to explore photography while celebrating their local area. Their work was even showcased at the Wimbledon Qualifiers, making it an unforgettable experience.
